Linda, Living Keys Founder, said

“It was really lovely to see the generosity of the people of Peterborough even in hard times. This event brought people together in our community and it was so lovely to see them sitting down, chatting and just enjoying the time together. I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone for their generosity and being part of this event. We will plan a further one in the future. I would also like to thank my fantastic volunteers Monica, Janet, Tanya and Stephanie for all their hard work and support in making this happen. I certainly have the A TEAM!”

We had stalls, with hand-crafted Christmas gift ideas at a very reasonable price. We also had a children’s book stall with the old stories such as Princess and the Pea, Rumpelstiltskin and The Snow Queen. Linda, our founder, bought five books for her granddaughter’s Christmas box.

We also had Alex come and she gave out hand massages and painted nails. Donations were given to Living Keys.

We also had a Tombola for children’s prizes, and a raffle in which we raised around £150. We would like to thank the following for their kind donations for our raffle:

  • The Harrier in Gunthorpe, we received a free meal for 2 for raffle.

  • The Harvester at the East Of England Showground, - £20 gift voucher

  • Boots in Hampton – Lots of Beauty items and a bag

  • Vivacity – 2 x free day passes for their Gym, Swimming pool etc.

  • Bannatyne’s Gym and Spa – thank you Adam Fidget for the free passes for 2 at the Gym and Spa, and the free massage treatment – for the raffle.
